PARRISH: "We...need other players to step up to the baton"

HEAD coach Kevin Parrish has called on his Invicta Dynamos players to give goalscorer Andy Smith more support ahead of their latest round of National Ice Hockey League (South B) games.

Dynamos dropped their first league point of the season, drawing 4-4 at third-placed Bracknell on Saturday.

As a result, they fell to second but have two games in hand over leaders Streatham and face Lee Valley Lions on Saturday and Romford Spitfires on Sunday.

Parrish said: "Andy Smith will score goals whatever league he plays in. He puts pressure on himself and says he's not a natural goalscorer but if you look at the points he has got, then the numbers are there.

"However, we can't rely on one person and need other players to step up to the baton."

Children aged under 16 with a full paying adult will only be charged £1 for the home game against Romford on Sunday.
