Kwesi Appiah has linked up with Peterborough

Ebbsfleet have lodged a complaint with the FA over Peterborough’s signing of striker Kwesi Appiah on a non-contract basis.

Appiah, who is a product of the Fleet’s youth set-up, has not reported back to the club since playing against Eastbourne Borough on September 23.

After being given seven days’ notice of approach, the Fleet became aware that Appiah had been in contact with Peterborough and was training with them, before the seven-day period had expired.

The club have reported the matter to the FA and are awaiting a response.
