Matt Jarvis has been linked with an initial loan move to the City Ground

NOTTINGHAM FOREST are interested in Gillingham winger Matt Jarvis and could make a move before the end of the season.

City Ground boss Colin Calderwood has made it clear he wants the 20-year-old, but Gills counterpart Ronnie Jepson admits he'd be lost without him.

Jepson said: "It would have to be through a loan with a view to a permanent transfer, but if I lose Matt Jarvis what am I going to do?

"As far as I’m concerned Jarvis is staying here as a Gillingham player until the end of the season and even onwards."
