Margate v Bishop's Stortford

MARGATE players and supporters will make what is likely to be their last trip to Homelands at Ashford on Saturday, when they face Bishop's Stortford.

The curtain will fall on a disappointing Nationwide Conference South campaign with relegation already assured following last week's 3-1 defeat at Havant and Waterlooville.

They hope to be back playing at Hartsdown Park next season after three years away from Thanet. Boss Chris Kinnear will pick from the same squad on duty last weekend.

The club defend the John Ullman Kent Senior Cup on Bank Holiday Monday when they face Dover at Folkestone Invicta's Cheriton Road ground.

It is likely to be an emotional day as the game has been dedicated to the life of Paul Sykes who collapsed and died playing for the host club in the semi-final earlier this month.
