Gillingham will take on Brackley Town in the first round of the FA Cup.

The Northamptonshire side won their qualifying round replay against Barrow 1-0 in the north-west on Tuesday night.

Brackley sit sixth in Skrill North, three divisions below the Gills, with just one defeat from their opening 11 league games.

Gills interim boss Peter Taylor said on Tuesday he was happy enough with the draw

Brackley have already played five games in the FA Cup, beating Gresley in a replay and then seeing off Boston United before overcoming Barrow at the second attempt.

They head to Priestfield next Saturday, with at least one familiar player in their ranks.

Striker Gary Mulligan scored 15 goals in 107 appearances during his time with the Gills.

Gillingham made it to the second round last season. After thrashing Scunthorpe 4-0 in round one, they lost 2-0 at Preston at the next hurdle.

Dartford also progressed to round one, following a narrow win over rivals Ebbsfleet. They will travel to Salisbury, while Welling United host last season's giant-killers Luton Town and Dover Athletic head to Corby.
