GILLINGHAM are reported to have had a bid for Peterborough United striker Calum Willock turned down.

Posh manager Barry Fry claims to have rejected a bid of £150,000 for the 23-year-old because it does not meet his valuation of the player.

The former Fulham forward has scored 10 goals this season and Fry believes that has inflated his price tag to nearer £500,000.

He told the Evening Telegraph in Peterborough: "There has been a lot of interest in Calum, but I would be mad to sell him in our current situation."

Gills boss Stan Ternent confirmed he expects to make further additions to his squad following the arrival of attacking midfielder Mike Flynn from Wigan Athletic.
