Gills manager Mark Stimson will be expecting a response today

Gillingham v Wycombe

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson will have to shuffle his side once more today as they welcome league leaders Wycombe to Priestfield.

Mark Bentley will miss the game through suspension, having accumulated five bookings, while captain Barry Fuller serves the second of a three game ban.

Also absent will be Andy Barcham, who misses out as FA rules stipulate his new loan agreement can’t begin until the new year transfer window opens.

Stimson is already without strikers Mark McCammon (hamstring) and Luis Cumbers (leg) and is left with 16 available first team professionals for the match.

The Gills boss is expected re-introduce Dennis Oli to the starting eleven while Stuart Lewis is also in line to start today’s match.

Gillingham will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing Boxing Day defeat against Dagenham but will be up against it.

The Chairboys, under the management of former Gills boss Peter Taylor, have only lost once in League 2 this season and sit seven points clear at the top.
