FORTY girl cricketers from Kent have been chosen to play exhibition matches at Lord’s.

They will play on the pitch during the interval of the England v India women’s international on Monday, August 14, the first of the one-day NatWest international series.

It is expected that they will meet Kent and England captain Charlotte Edwards, and her team, on the day.

Players from Thanet Girls, Mote Ladies, Medway/Swale and Sibton Park will take part in the demonstration games.
