MEMBERS of Boughton Golf Club, near Canterbury, are hosting a charity day for SSAFA Forces Help, which aids serving and ex-Service people and their families.

The event will be held on Friday, September 19, and teams of four are invited to enter, at £160 per team.

The best two scores from each team will count in the Stableford competition, with a three-quarter handicap allowance. There will be prizes for the top two teams, nearest the pin, and longest drive, and a raffle.

Covered by the entry fee will be coffee and bacon rolls from 7.30am, and lunch at 2.30pm (£15 for non-players). Supporters and guests will be welcome.

For more information and entry forms telephone Robert Prestige on 01227 830490, or e-mail Prestige@ parkl.demon.co.uk
