Gillingham v Plymouth

GILLINGHAM striker Darius Henderson is hoping to erase the memories of the last meeting with Plymouth in October by taking the points at Priestfield on Saturday.

Henderson had put Gills in front just after the break with his first goal of the season for the club but home striker David Friio struck twice in the closing minutes to send Gills home pointless.

He said: "It was a sickening late blow but as long as we come off the pitch on Saturday with three points, I'm sure you'll see a lot of smiles. We've definitely got a score to settle."

And Henderson added the Priestfield crowd would play their part. He admitted the improvement in home form was partially down to the fans and he hoped that would continue.

"A lot of credit has got to go to the fans. They’ve been superb. Instead of getting on our cases, they've backed us and we've repaid them by getting good results," he said.

Henderson also praised Matt Bodkin, who made his first team debut against Porstmouth in the FA Cup on Saturday.

He added: "He's got superb potential. He's got great pace and I'm sure he'll cause havoc if he plays."

Gillingham have a number of injury concerns ahead of the game. John Hills, Nyron Nosworthy, Jason Brown, Alan Pouton and Barry Ashby will undergo late fitness tests but Tommy Johnson (calf) and Mamady Sidibe (Achilles) will miss out.
