GILLINGHAM player-manager Andy Hessenthaler has promised changes for tonight's match at Reading (writes Tony Hudd).

He will be desperate to improve on a record which has seen the side take only one point from their last possible nine.

Paul Shaw and Nicky Southall look certain to return. Hessenthaler admitted: "There will be players who will be disappointed at Reading."
