ROD Wallace got the goal, but Andy Hessenthaler was the star man for Gillingham.
The player-manager with the boundless energy was the driving force in a Gills team that fully deserved the three points.
He was also the catalyst for the goal, surging into the box and producing the perfect cross for Wallace to swivel and volley home on 75 minutes.

Norwich created little, but will feel hard done by after Craig Fleming’s header was disallowed as the game drifted into injury time.
The win lifts Gills into eleventh in the table, seven points off the play-off places.
