THE Gillingham-based Invicta Dynamos ice hockey squad visit Chelmsford Chieftains in the Premier Cup on Sunday looking for a third win over their rivals.

After sizeable victories last weekend, player coach Kevin Parrish is keen to stamp out any signs of complacency.

On Saturday, the Mos defeated Haringey Greyhounds 13-1 in the National League Cup and then eased past Peterborough Islanders 8-1 in the league.

Parrish said: "It was a comfortable weekend for us but I’m not very happy with our performances. On Saturday against Haringey we played two periods of good hockey and on Sunday it was just one period where we played well.

"When we play league games we think we can win by 20 goals every week and I think complacency is creeping in. The Premier Cup games are faster and give us a good test.

"We’ve beaten Chelmsford twice already this season and hopefully we can put together three good periods of hockey and get another win."

Jamie Smith and Matt Drake miss out on Sunday through injury.
