Gillingham 3 Swansea City 1

MANAGER Ronnie Jepson put Gillingham's third straight win down to rigorous planning after Swansea were torn apart at Priestfield on Saturday.

"They’re a good side but we set our players up well and we found one or two things that we could exploit," said Jepson, whose side leapt into the top half of the League 1 table.

"If I was to be overly critical then I would have liked to come off with one or two more goals."

Key to that exploitation was Matt Jarvis, who was moved from his usual left-wing position to partner Gary Mulligan up front.

Swansea manager Kenny Jackett admitted: "We didn’t handle Jarvis from start to finish and he gave us problems all day. He usually plays wide but he went up front and that gave us problems."
