GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson is keeping an eye on former Swansea forward Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Swindon are believed to be leading the chase for the 25-year-old targetman, who was on Gillingham's wishlist last season.

Akinfenwa is a free agent after failing to agree terms on a new deal at the Liberty Stadium.

He said: "It looks like I'll be joining another club in League 1."
