KENT cricketers Martin Saggers and Martin Van Jaarsveld have helped launch a nationwide £3million anti-drink drive campaign at the St Lawrence ground in Canterbury.

The new Think intiative by the Department of Transport is said to take a pioneering approach to educating against drink-driving.

The campign is also linked to a new television ad which highlights the consequences of drink-driving on a individual who is caught drunk at the wheel.

In particular, it responds to concerns that young men are more likely to be involved in a drink drive accident than any other age group.
