Kent players have recently returned from furloughed leave in preparation for the start of the domestic season which begins in August with the four-day Bob Willis Trophy competition.

The players will take part in intra-squad warm-up matches next week.

Director of cricket Paul Downton said: "These two days of red-ball cricket against last year's County Champions is ideal for us as we look to step up preparations for the start of the season.

"We're expecting to pick a squad of 14 and rotate the bowlers so that they can build on the hard work they have been putting in over the past couple of weeks during individual and team training.”

Kent are to confirm details of the live streaming service soon.

The Bob Willis Trophy will feature three regional groups of six, with teams contesting five matches. There is expected to be a final played at Lord’s.

A shortened Vitality Blast competition will begin towards the end of the month.
