Kent snooker pair hoping to progress

Barry Hawkins, ranked 27th in the world, faces Daniel Wells

Two Kent snooker players are bidding to qualify for the World Snooker Championships on Tuesday.

Dartford's Barry Hawkins and Rainham's Gerard Greene are both in action in the final round of qualifying.

Hawkins is favourite to edge past Daniel Wells while Greene will be hoping to cause an upset when he takes on 1997 champion Ken Doherty.
