KENT all-rounder Yasir Arafat is returning to Pakistan early next week after playing his last game for the club at Edgbaston.

A surprise inclusion in their Twenty20 World Championship squad, Arafat is wanted back home for a squad training camp ahead of the tournament in South Africa next month.

Kent director of cricket Graham Ford said: "We asked if we might keep Yasir a little longer but that proved to be an absolute no-no."
