HERO: Marlon King

MARLON KING will be gunning for Leeds after his two goals last night helped shoot Gillingham into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

King admitted that he couldn't wait to face Terry Venables’ side on January 25 and is confident that Gills can do well.

King, who was in top form last night in the Kent club's 4-1 triumph, has a track record of producing goals against top-flight opponents.

He said: “I've played against John Terry and Tony Adams so nothing frightens me or any of the boys. We're at home, Leeds have got to come and play on not the best of pitches and with the support behind us all we can do is be positive and take it to them.

“It's Premiership opposition and I want to play in the Premiership. I have scored against every Premiership team we have played against so why stop against Leeds.”

Manager Andy Hessenthaler was also delighted to have got through against the Owls. He said: “Playing Leeds at home is great news financially for the club. The form book goes out of the window in the FA Cup. The pitch will be tricky and it's not going to get any better. It could prove a big leveller."
