BROMLEY produced a polished display to defeat Braintree 4-0 at Hayes Lane on Saturday.Danny Hockton was the star of the show as he produced two superb finishes in the opening 25 minutes, the first after a magnificent pass by Simon Osborn and the second after being played in by Sam Wood.
Gareth Williams's deflected effort made it 3-0 with 15 minutes to play before Wood rounded off the scoring nine minute from time after a fine one-two with Hockton.
It could have been more for the Lillywhites - who managed 15 shots to their opponents' two - but Braintree keeper Nick Morgan made a number of fine saves.
