Chatham boss Steve Binks saw his side thrashed at Concord on Tuesday night

It was a busy night of action in the Ryman League with a number of Kent sides in action on Tuesday.

Chatham crashed to a 5-0 defeat at Canvey Island side Concord Rangers in Division 1 North.

It was the 14th league defeat of the season for Steve Binks' side, whose match against league leaders Waltham Abbey on Saturday had been postponed.

Ashford turned in a five-star display to win 5-1 at Leatherhead in Division 1 South and make it three victories on the spin.

Town opened the scoring on five minutes when midfielder James Humphreys unleashed a 25-yarder screamer that flew past Chris Lewington in the Tanners’ goal.

Craig Wilkins made it 2-0 13 minutes later with his first goal for the club, and although Leatherhead pulled a goal back through Jason Henry, Steve Lovell's side then took full command and were rewarded with further goals by Sean Ray, Elliott Braithwaite and substitute Mitchell Sherwood.

Sittingbourne's Richard Brady scored in the 83rd minute to give his side a 3-2 win at Crowborough in Division 1 South.

The Sussex side scored first but Matt Bourne levelled for the Brickies on 22 minutes. Nick Reeves put Sittingbourne ahead on 63 minutes with his first goal for the club. A Joe Dowley own goal on 79 minutes let Crowborough back in the game, before Brady's late strike ensured all three points for the visitors. The win pushes Sittingbourne up to eighth in the table.

Whitstable Town slipped into the bottom three of Division 1 South after suffering a 4-1 defeat against Cray Wanderers.

Cray started strongly and raced into a 3-0 lead through goals from Tyrone Sterling, Scott Kinch and Leigh Bremner.
