MAMADY SIDIBE: Had one of Gillingham's better chances

Gillingham 0 Ipswich Town 0

GILLINGHAM are holding promotion-chasing Ipswich Town to a goalless draw at the break.

The visitors have scored seven goals in their last two games but they have created little in a quiet first half.

It was the home side who had the better of the chances.

Darius Henderson had a decent chance on 17 minutes after Richard Naylor had given the ball away, but his shot beat the post.

Seconds later Mamady Sidibe sent a low drive just wide of Ipswich’s goal.

Stan Ternent will be pleased with how his side, looking to extend a four-match unbeaten run, have coped with their high-flying opponents.

Gillingham: Brown, Nosworthy, Hope, Ashby, McEveley, Southall, Smith, Flynn, Douglas, Sidibe, Henderson.

* KM-fm will be following Gillingham in their fight for Championship survival in every game home and away until the end of the season.
