GUY IPOUA: on the bench tonight

GILLINGHAM striker Guy Ipoua had his worst fears confirmed. He has been told he will not be offered a new contract at Priestfield.

The Cameroon striker loses his place in tonight’s starting line-up against Watford to fit-again Tommy Johnson.

Ipoua drops to the bench where he will be joined by fit-again Mamady Sidibe who trained yesterday without feeling any reaction to the thigh strain that has kept him out.

Simon Osborn will be handed a place in tonight’s starting line-up, and with it the chance to prove he is worth a new contract.

Nyron Nosworthy keeps his place at the heart of the defence tonight alongside Chris Hope as Barry Ashby has not recovered from a hamstring strain.
