JAMES: in because King is out?

WITH injured Marlon King ruled out for the game at Ipswich on Saturday, Gillingham may offer Kevin James an extended run in the side, starting at Portman Road.

Player-mananger Andy Hessenthaler (back) and Paul Shaw (ankle) are two minor doubts for a fixture where Gillingham are traditionally well supported.

Gills will be looking to bounce back after the disappointing League Cup defeat at Bolton in midweek.

“The Bolton match is over and we’ve got to focus clearly on Ipswich,” stressed Hessenthaler.

“The priority is the league and after getting a decent result against Palace we now need to go on an unbeaten run of league games.”
