PARRISH: "With everything we had to go through, I would have taken a 3-2 defeat before the start"

INVICTA DYNAMOS coach Kevin Parrish says his side are in a strong position to win the National League Final despite losing the away leg 3-2.

The Mos squad had to endure a seven-hour coach ride to Newcastle and then play in a 11,000-seater stadium with just 75 spectators present.

Parrish said: "With everything we had to go through, I would have taken a 3-2 defeat before the start.

"Travelling up by coach on the day of the game wasn’t ideal and the atmosphere at the arena was really strange.

"But we only lost by one goal and they have all the travel problems to deal with when they came down to our place.

"We will be able to take the game to them and I’m confident we can overturn a one-goal deficit."
