Parrish plays down title talk

Kevin Parrish's side have gone 17 games unbeaten

Head coach Kevin Parrish is refusing to talk up Invicta Dynamos’ ENIHL South 1 title chances ahead of their games against Cardiff Dragons and Haringey Greyhounds this weekend.

Parrish’s side have now gone 17 games unbeaten and sit just a point behind leaders Bracknell with four games in hand.

But Parrish warned: “It is still tight up there. If we lose a couple we could be playing cat and mouse all the way to the end of the year. We’ll be chasing them and then they’ll be chasing us.”

Parrish has been preparing his side for the games against Cardiff (Saturday) and Haringey (Sunday) all week and believes they are more than ready.

He added: “Cardiff are still fighting for a play-off spot and won’t want to throw away the good start they had to the season.

“We have just got to stick to the game plan we have had for the last 17 games and stay focused.”

Damien Welch will miss Saturday’s game against Cardiff through suspension.
