RAMSGATE manager Peter Hook has added England Police defender Ryan McCabe to his squad with less week to go before the start of the Bass Brewers Kent League season.

The left-sided player is a former Dover YTS trainee who played in the Conference and has since been with St Leonards in the Dr Martens League.

Hook said: “He’s not particularly big but is very stocky and strong, and will be a good signing.

“I believe Sittingbourne were interested in him but I have known him a few years and persuaded him to join us.”
