Mo Takaloo, who misses the Canvey game through suspension

Ramsgate v Canvey Island

Ramsgate manager Jim Ward is likely to hand a debut to new signing Danny Walder when Canvey Island visit the Southwood Stadium tomorrow (Saturday).

The 19-year-old arrived on loan from Gillingham at the start of the week and played in the reserves 3-2 win over Margate on Tuesday.

Ward said: "Danny will certainly be in the squad. From what I have seen his attitude, passing ability and tackling seems good."

Ramsgate go into the game on the back of three straight defeats but Ward is confident his side can start pushing up the Ryman League Premier Division table.

He added: "The players have been working hard in training all week. We've got two home games in quick succession and it is a good chance to get this monkey off our back."

Mo Takaloo will miss the game through suspension while Simon Pettit (ankle), Ben Laslett (ankle) and Aaron Firth (knee) are all injury doubts.
