Reeves wants to regain world champion title

TIM REEVES: "I hope to repay their faith in me by securing the world title once again”

WORLD sidecar champion Tim Reeves has landed a major backer to fund his triple assault this coming season.

Reeves will make his debut in the Isle of Man TT competition, as well as aiming to retain his British and World crown, and with the help of German finance company Gunther Reuschling he is hoping for yet more glory.

“I’m delighted to welcome them to the team,” he said. “I hope to repay their faith in me by securing the world title once again.”

Aylesford-racer Reeves knows the TT competition will be a daunting challenge and accepts he may not taste glory immediately.

He said: “I’m realistic about my chances and this year is about enjoying the experience and coming home in one piece. I intend to contest the TT every year and my aim is to win a TT race – we will just have to see how long that takes us.”
