Kent spinner Adam Riley is one of five young players in the running to win the LV= Breakthrough Player award.

He joins Zafar Ansari (Surrey), Alex Lees (Yorkshire), Lewis Gregory (Somerset) and Jason Roy (Surrey) on the shortlist for the award after catching the attention of both professionals and pundits with some stellar performances in the LV= County Championship this season.

The finalists were selected by a panel including ECB performance director David Parsons, former England skipper Mike Gatting and PCA Chairman Mark Wallace.
But a public vote will decide the winner.
