Sampson announces retirement for 'forseeable future'

Tommy Sampson says he is retiring from non-league football for the ‘forseeable future’ for the sake of his health.
The former Deal, Herne Bay, and Dartford manager says his love of the game remains as strong as ever, but his main focus is trying to recover from the stroke he suffered at his Maidstone home in December.
Sampson spent six months in hospital after the stroke, and even now cannot walk far without the aid of a walking stick.
