Matt Walker hopes to play against the Hawks

KENT officials are expecting a bumper crowd at The Nevill in Tunbridge Wells for Sunday's crucial Friends Provident Trophy tie against Hampshire.

A win will ensure Kent's passage through to the semi-finals, so demand for tickets has been high with almost 3,000 sold in advance.

Kent are expected to name influential left-hander Matt Walker after he passed a fitness test on Saturday on the left thumb he injured at Whitgift School nine days ago.

Kent from: Key, Jones, Stevens, Hall, Walker, van Jaarsveld, Tredwell, Yasir Arafat, McLaren, Cook, Dexter, Denly.
