Craig Stone is one of six players leaving Priestfield

Craig Stone heads the list of Gillingham players released by the club following their relegation to League 2.

Six players have been released while veteran goalkeeper Derek Stillie has decided to retire.

Joining Stone out of the exit door will be Kelvin Jack, Tom Bryant, Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu, Georges Ba and Barry Cogan.

The departures were announced by Gillingham manager Mark Stimson following a series of meetings with his players on Tuesday.

Striker Leroy Griffiths has not been offered a new deal but has been invited back for pre-season training.
