KENT'S Gary Smith goes for gold in the Olympic trampoline event on Saturday afternoon. The Gillingham Jumpers member will start his first routine at about 2.30pm in the Olympic Hall along with 15 other competitors.

The second routine is due to take place at around 3.06pm when the gymnasts have to display 10 different skills to the judges.

The final of the competition, scheduled for 3.48pm, sees the competitors halved as Smith hopes to bring home a medal.
