KENT snooker player Gerard Greene has been ranked No 38 in the world after a phenomenal season.

Greene, from Rainham, who started last season ranked No 63, reached the quarter-finals of the LG Cup.

He also made appearances in the final stages of the Embassy World Championships, Powerhouse UK Championship and European Open.
