SAM SODJE'S powwerful header five minutes before half-time kept Margate's good away form going in the Nationwide Conference with a satisfying victory over Halifax on Saturday (Graham Jones writes).

Sodje rose unmarked five minutes before the break to head home Darren Annon's free-kick from the left.

Jay Saunders hit the woodwork for Gate while, at the other end, Annon was forced to clear Adam Quinn's goalbound header off the line.
