Danny Kedwell was suspended for the opening match

Lewes v Welling United

WELLING boss Adrian Pennock welcomes back striker Danny Kedwell for tonight's Nationwide Conference South trip to title favourites Lewes.

The Wings forward, who had a trial with League 1 Brentford during pre-season, missed the opening game of the season through suspension.

His return means that Pennock will make at least one change from the side that overcame Weston-super-Mare on the opening day of the season, although scorer Andrew Sam is also pushing for a place in the starting line-up.

Pennock said: "There's great competition in all places now, not just forwards, and that's what you want as a manager.

"There's no pressure on us, we've got a young team and they play with no fear."
