Barnet 3 Margate 1

TWO first-half goals from razor sharp striker Giuliano Grazioli condemned Margate to defeat in the Nationwide Conference at Underhill on Saturday.

Grazioli opened the scoring on the half hour when he controlled a cross from Ian Hendon and fired past Gate keeper Phil Smith.

That was his 24th goal of the campaign and the Conference's leading marksman made it 25 in the 41st minute when he headed home unmarked at the far post from a Joe Gamble centre.

Manny Omoyinmi gave Margate a glimmer of hope when he fired home from 20 yards in the 55th minute but just three minutes later Barnet's Liam Hatch was fouled by Graham Porter and Hendon buried the spot kick.
