THE Kent Angling Show takes place in the John Hendry pavilion at the Kent Showground at Detling, near Maidstone, on Saturday and Sunday, October 7-8.

Visitors to the show can meet the likes of carp king Frank Warwick, Predator angler Martin Bowler and sea angling star Tony Kirrage, to discuss fishing techniques and tips.

Warwick and Bowler will be hosting a casting clinic.

Tackle, clothing and luggage will also be on sale.

Opening times are 10am-4pm Saturday, and 10am-3pm Sunday, and the entry fee is £5 for adults, free for accompanied under-15s.
