PENNOCK: "We need everybody fit as the games are coming thick and fast"

Welling United v Havant & Waterlooville

WELLING begin a challenging sequence of matches against high-flying Havant & Waterlooville at Park View Road on Saturday.

The Wings play six more league games between now and the end of the month and manager Adrian Pennock knows he needs his squad firing on all cylinders.

He said: "We need everybody fit as the games are coming thick and fast. It’s better for us when they are like that but there’s a long way to go and we need to pick up points."

Andrew Sam (chicken pox) and Steve Perkins (stomach) missed the trip to Bognor while Ellis Green and Martin Carthy both picked up knocks.
