WELLING have turned down an initial offer from Grays Athletic for leading scorer Danny Kedwell.
The Nationwide Conference outfit tabled a bid, believed to be in the region of £10,000.
Kedwell, who had a trial at League 1 Brentford during the summer, has also attracted the attention of Leyton Orient among a host of other clubs this season.
Manager Adrian Pennock: "There was an offer for Danny which we rejected. The bid was laughable in our eyes.
