Cathy Gilliat-Smith scored Canterbury's fifth goal

CANTERBURY went fifth in the Premier Division after a 5-3 win over Ipswich at Polo Farm on Saturday lunchtime.

Helen Grant gave the home side the lead after just two minutes only for Ipswich to level three minutes later.

Natasha Brennan restored the city club’s lead less than 60 seconds later and Sarah Kerly made it 3-1 before the break.

A penalty corner from Ipswich reduced the arrears on 50 minutes and they drew level four minutes later, only for Grant to bag her second just after the hour mark and Cathy Gilliat-Smith to add a killer fifth a minute later.
