Thieves steal 14 boilers from Maidstone building sites

Almost £14,000 of boilers have been stolen from two building sites in Maidstone.

A total of 14 were taken from flats and houses under construction in Blunden Lane, Yalding and Hermitage Lane, Barming.

The first was burgled between midnight on Saturday, November 23 and 1pm on Tuesday, November 26.

The second was targeted between 5pm on the Tuesday, November 26 and 5am on Wednesday, November 27.

DC Iain Joyce said: "The stolen items have a value of between £850 to £1,000 and we would be very keen to hear from anybody who has been offered a Potterton or Ideal boiler at a reduced price."
