Forensic officers have been examining a bank in Borough Green after somebody tried to break in.

Police were called at about 3.15am today (Monday) after it was reported there was some sort of activity at Barclays Bank in Station Road.

A police statement said: "At this time it appears a door was forced to access the building but nothing has been taken.

"The bank is currently cordoned off as forensic officers, along with other officers, are at the bank carrying out an examination of the scene."
