Maidstone: Police appeal for witnesses after man hit by a black BMW A20 Ashford Road near the junction with New Cut Road

A pedestrian was left seriously injured after being hit by a car in Maidstone this morning.

The crash happened near Mote Park on the A20 Ashford Road close to the junction with New Cut Road at 12.45am. The car involved was a black BMW.

A man in his 20s was taken by paramedics to a London hospital.
