Maidstone: Appeal after elderly woman hit by cyclist in Gabriels Hill

Police are appealing for help to trace a cyclist who reportedly knocked over an elderly woman and swore at her.

It happened in Gabriels Hill, in Maidstone town centre, between 7am and 7.30am on Monday.

The woman, in her 90s, suffered cuts and bruising to her elbow after being hit by the bike.

The collision happened in Gabriels Hill

When she spoke to the cyclist about the manner of his cycling, it is reported he swore at her and made off in the direction of Lower Stone Street.

Anybody who saw the incident or who has any information that may help identify the cyclist is asked to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting reference 23-1084. Alternatively contact Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
