Appeal after micro-chipped dog vanishes

POLICE are appealing to the public for information after a dog was stolen from premises in Lower Farm Road, Boughton Monchelsea, near Maidstone.

The dog went missing from the area on February 24 between 2pm and 2.45pm. He is described as a young grizzle and tan border terrier dog. He is micro-chipped.

A police spokeswoman said: "No one suspicious was seen in the area at the time but the dog’s owners believe he has been stolen, after carrying out extensive searches in the area."
