POLICE are asking for information from the public after a black Mercedes Benz saloon was vandalised, causing damage estimated at being more than £1,000.

The E class Merc was parked in Capell Close, in Coxheath near Maidstone. A sharp implement was used to scratch offensive language into the bonnet paintwork.

The Mercedes Benz badge was also prised off and left on the bonnet of the car.

Anyone with information about the incident that occurred on December 19, between 7.30pm and 9.20pm, is asked to contact police in Mid Kent on 01622 690055 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
