Maidstone: Appeal after vehicle break-ins in Roseholme, Prospect Place and Florence Road

Police are appealing for help after a spate of thefts from cars and vans in Maidstone.

Between Wednesday, May 13 and Saturday, June 4 vehicles have been targeted overnight seven times in Roseholme, Prospect Place and Florence Road.

Items taken include power tools, sunglasses and gardening implements.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "At present, no suspect has been identified and anyone who believes they have information is asked to call Kent Police on 101 or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111."

In the meantime, car owners are being advised to take some basic precautions including removing or hiding valuable items overnight.
